Our Founder
Growing up on Vancouver Island, Mckenna Haz was shaped by the ocean from an early age. She began building Seaav from her college dorm room in Connecticut with a vision to create more than an activewear brand: a community-driven lifestyle brand inspired by the coast and built with purpose.
Rooted in the belief that movement has the power to connect people, Seaav blends coastal-inspired design, experiential wellness events, and conscious production to create products and experiences that bring people together in real life. Guided by the mission to “make waves, not waste,” the brand is committed to designing thoughtfully, building community intentionally, and protecting the places that inspire us most.
What began as a grassroots idea shared through social media and local wellness events has evolved into a Boston-based coastal activewear and wellness company known for its immersive community experiences, ocean-inspired storytelling, and growing impact-driven mission.
