Our Founder
Growing up on Vancouver Island, Mckenna Haz developed a deep connection to the ocean and coastal lifestyle from an early age. After moving to the United States on a Division I rugby scholarship.
While building Seaav from her college dorm room in Connecticut, Mckenna saw an opportunity to create something different, an activewear brand rooted in purpose, sustainability, and connection. Inspired by the ocean and driven by a mission to “make waves, not waste,” she built Seaav to reflect a lifestyle centered around movement, community, and conscious living.
What started as a grassroots idea shared through social media and wellness events has grown into a Boston-headquartered coastal activewear and wellness brand known for its ocean-inspired storytelling, immersive events, and impact-driven mission.
But Seaav is about more than activewear. It’s about building a community that inspires people to move, connect, and protect the planet along the way.
